Steve Fowler

When he was a kid, Steve remembers his grandfather always taking photos with old flash bulb still cameras, some of those cameras sit on a shelf in his office today. He happily reminisces about the many years where his Dad would run around with his 8mm film movie camera recording their family memories. In fact, Steve still has the very first video camera that his dad brought home, which also is the camera that Steve shot his first wedding with! With family members so passionate about media, it comes as no surprise that Steve discovered his true calling in documentary film-making.

Steve is a graduate of Asnuntuck Community College where he took general studies with a strong focus on art. While there, Steve found that his artistic education, love of technology and attention to detail transferred perfectly into the new revolutionary medium of photography-in-motion: cinematography! Upon his graduation of Asnutuck, Steve attended Springfield Technical Community College where he studied video production. Since 1986 Steve has been the driving force behind VIDEOEXPERTS (VE) and in January of 2009 to better cater to the needs of his wedding and event video clients he opened a sister company called Steven Fowler Films

Steve has always been committed to exceeding his customers' expectations. From the smallest personal event to the largest corporate assignment, his devotion to perfection has been unwavering. As a result, Steve's reputation quickly spread, and he became known as the leading videographer in New England, throughout the country and the world. He has filmed events for NASCAR racing, championship boxing for network television; he has produced training films for GE, Westinghouse, and Lego as well as hundreds of wedding events around the country and is available for world wide travel!

Today, Steve has built a team of the best and brightest talent, helping him create innovative and professional productions. With years of experience, the latest technology, and a constant commitment to quality, Steve and his team continue to achieve unsurpassed levels of excellence in the industry.

Steve and his award-winning team have accrued an unprecedented 37 local, national and international awards, which ranks them as one of the top award-winning companies in the world. He has also been chosen by his peers as one of the Top 25 videographers in the world for 4 consecutive years and has also been chosen by local brides as 'The Knot' Best of Weddings for two consecutive years.

As an award-winning member of several associations including the Connecticut Professional Videographers Association (PVA – CT), the 4Ever Group and the Wedding and Event Videographers Association (WEVA - International), Steve shares his knowledge with other videographers from around the world. He has been a featured speaker around the country and has a special website dedicated to the training and education of other videographers. Steve is a firm believer in helping educate other videographers in his field and giving back to the community that inspired him.

In his spare time Steve enjoys mountain biking, wake boarding, water skiing, snow skiing and snowboarding as well as spending time with his dog Oliver.
